Seasonal things I make every year
Spring
- Wild garlic pesto (it freezes really well)
- Plantain, dandelion leaf, cleavers and hawthorn leaf tinctures (fresh)
Early summer
- Hawthorn flower tincture (added to the fresh leaf tincture), elderflower everything
- Lots of different hydrosols but always, peppermint, chamomile and rose because I use those the most.
Mid to late summer
This is when I do most of my drying from my own herb garden so rosemary, sage, peppermint, chamomile, calendula, yarrow, lady’s mantle.
Autumn
- Elderberry syrup and tincture
- Rosehip infused oil, syrup and dried and powdered for capsules
- Coltsfoot, thyme and liquorice cough syrup (ready for winter)
- Add the hawthorn berries to my fresh leaf and fresh flower combined tincture to make a super all in one hawthorn tincture.
- Medicinal mushroom tinctures
Winter
- Fire cider
