The three starter herbs
For those people who didn't see my Three Herbs for mental wellbeing mini course here's a recap.
- Chamomile - has a mildly relaxing effect on strained nerves so if you feel wound up like a coiled spring chamomile tea would be a great start.
- Lavender - acts on the limbic system in the brain to calm and gentle relax us.
- Skullcap - is a remedy that was once described by a teacher of mine as "to calm the mice that are running around in people's heads at night", which always stuck with me.
